I have sat in the leadership seat

Before becoming a coach, I spent twenty years as an entrepreneur, building and leading an IT company.

I know the experience of making decisions with incomplete information, carrying responsibility for other people and discovering that what worked at one stage of a business needs to change at another.

That experience helps me understand the realities leaders bring into our conversations.

Experience across different contexts

I have supported startups, scaleups, medium-sized companies and global corporations, working with leaders across the US, EMEA and JAPAC.

Those contexts differ enormously. My experience gives me questions to ask and patterns to notice, while reminding me to understand your situation on its own terms.

My coaching craft

I am trained as an executive coach and systemic team coach. Peter Hawkins’ approach to systemic team coaching has deeply influenced my work, particularly its attention to what teams exist to create for their stakeholders.

I bring models and experience alongside close attention to what happens between people: what gets said, what stays unspoken and whose perspective is missing.

I have also accompanied nearly 140 people through multi-day walking experiences. That work continues to inform how I create space for reflection and change.
