MY APPROACH
Start by
seeing more
What is happening here, and why might it make sense?
Departure
Something that once fitted begins to feel too small. We understand what we are leaving, appreciate what it gave us and gradually loosen our attachment to it.
Passage
The old way has lost some of its hold while the new one is still taking shape. We stay with uncertainty long enough to see what was previously unavailable.
Arrival
Something becomes clearer: a possibility, a decision, a relationship, a different way of working. Arrival is about recognizing what has become possible.
The pattern repeats at every scale
A conversation can contain this movement. So can a six-month coaching relationship. So can a year-long leadership team journey.
I think of it as a fractal: the pattern repeats while the scale changes.
Look within. Look between.
Look around. Look ahead.
With a leader, I pay attention to the person and the system around them. With a team, to what happens inside and across its boundaries. Across teams, to the relationships and dependencies between them.
And at every scale: What is the world you’re moving into asking you to become today?
Work with what happens
I prepare carefully. Then I pay attention to what actually happens.
Someone says something unexpected. A tension appears. An exercise produces a different result than expected. A conversation changes direction. Something in the environment catches someone’s attention.
Those moments are often not interruptions to the work. They are the work.
My discipline is trust
I need to trust the people I am working with. Trust what is happening. Trust the process enough to give it time. Trust myself enough to work without knowing exactly where every intervention will lead.
That does not mean being passive. It means being fully present without needing to control the outcome.
The aim is greater capacity
The goal is not for you to become better at working with me. It is to become better at meeting what comes next.
Seeing more. Recognizing patterns earlier. Having conversations that matter. Working across boundaries. Acting without needing certainty. Changing direction when reality changes.
The work is to become more capable of meeting the next transformation.
